Katta brings to ExEd extensive experience in managing and overseeing busy research laboratory environments, and in supporting wet lab based research projects. At ExEd, she is in charge of the productivity and safety of our laboratories.
Bio
Following a 10 year career in the publication industry, Katta completed her BSc. Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology in 2005.She commenced her career in biotechnology as a Research Assistant for FIMM, Finnish Institute for Molecular Medicine, Helsinki. After relocating to UK in 2008, Katta worked as a Senior Research Assistant for the Sanger Institute and the University of Cambridge, contributing to a stream of challenging projects from cancer cell line screening, mouse embryonic stem cell engineering, and hematopoietic stem cell analysis, and developing her expertise in mammalian cell culture and transfection systems. She now brings her experience from multiple countries and several laboratories to manage the laboratories at ExpressionEdits.
